Happy Canada Day!

A reception was given by Mr. Pierre Guimond, Ambassador of Canada in Hungary. The Commercial Unit of the Embassy keeps good contact with HUNAGI since more than a decade, and HUNAGI provided promotional support in the field ICT to strengthen bilateral partnerships between SMEs and offering recent opportunities to take part roadshow in Canada.

Hey girls,
So Tuesday night this kid I used to date in the past drove 2 1/2 hours just to take me out after work, so I did eat a quesadilla which I think is around 700 calories. So I had about 1,000 calories Tuesday.
Wednesday I did have some ritz crackers and some bits of honey, so thats about 200 calories.
And now we're on today. I had a doctors appt to get shots and they weighed me, I was so nervous to see what I actually weigh... It was 138... what I orignially thought it was going to be. So I've just had some flintstone calcium gummies, and vitamin water.
But do you notice how some days you have just such a motivation to not eat anything and somedays even if you know your bigger you want to just break down and eat. Its so strange cuz I want to be thin more than so many other things in my life, and I love the feel of an empty stomach but today I've just been wanting to eat... Not good. I've been trying to look at my thinspo albums saved on my Ipod to help kill the cravings but their still there. UGH! That river raft trip is this weekend, I can't afford to eat.

Super Eagles Grounded

Nigeria president Goodluck Jonathan has withdrawn the Super Eagles from international competition until 2012 after their disappointing World Cup campaign. Speaking to reporters, a special adviser to the country's leader confirmed the two-year ban to restructure the national set-up.

Ready For Black Stars

Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez has once more decided to announce his team early in anticipation of the Celeste clash against Ghana on Friday. There will be two changes for the Uruguayans from the team which squeaked through 2-1 against South Korea in the last-16.

Schweini Slams Argies

Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has raised the temperature ahead of Saturday's anticipated highly charged clash against an in-form Argentina, claiming that the Albicelestes always try to influence referees when they play, whether it's the past or the present.

Pele Slams Dunga & Maradona

Brazil legend Pele has continued his war of words with Argentina coach Diego Maradona as he questioned his coaching credentials. Pele didn't stop there, however, and also bemoaned the safety-first approach of his compatriot and current Selecao trainer, Dunga.

Top 10 Crazy Diego Maradona Moments Of The World Cup So Far

10) Maradona & His Amazing Garce-Coloured Dreamcoat

There was widespread anger when Argentina record-cap holder Javier Zanetti was left at home, despite a brilliant treble-winning season with Inter. Rumour has it that virtually unknown Colon veteran Ariel Garce was called up instead because Maradona had a dream that Argentina won the tournament, and Garce was the only player he could remember!

9) I Told You So About Milito

How about this for irony? After controversially leaving Zanetti and Esteban Cambiasso out of his original 30-man World Cup squad there were reports that Maradona would then cut another Interista Diego Milito from the final 23.

When the 1986-World Cup winner did indeed retain Milito, he mocked the media and public by humorously making out as if he was the only person who believed in the striker: “Milito ended up confirming I was right in including him among the 23 players I'm taking to the World Cup. I'm not surprised about what Milito has done.”

Milito bagged a brace against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final, blasted home the only goal of the Coppa Italia final and scored the winner over Siena that clinched the Scudetto for Inter, scoring 30 club goals in all competitions.

8) Maradona Runs Over Cameraman & Curses The Man

Maradona had enough to worry about on the day he formally announced his 23-man World Cup squad for South Africa, however the announcement turned into a farce after the coach ran over a cameraman.

Driving a Mini to a news conference, Diego was surrounded by newsmen as he made his way to the venue before hitting one poor guy with his car. According to reports, Maradona drove his car over the cameraman's foot and then began blaming and hurling insults at his victim for causing the accident in the first place.

Witnesses were quoted hearing Maradona saying "What an a**hole you are. How can you put your leg there where it can get run over, man?"

7) Maradona Encourages Players To Have Sex

Maradona is like the cool teacher at high school who lets you eat and drink in class, answer your mobile during lessons, and not wear proper uniform. When quizzed whether he permitted his players to have sex during the World Cup, Dieguito is reported to have responded: “Of course, as long as the women do all the work.”

Team doctor Donato Villani added: “Sex is a normal part of social life and is not a problem. The disadvantages are when it is with someone who is not a stable partner or when the player should be resting.

“It is important the action should not reverberate in the legs of the players. Sex isn't a problem. It's only a problem if they're doing it at two in the morning with a bottle of champagne on the go."

6) Naked In Buenos Aires

Argentina have been in fantastic form in South Africa so far, and are looking like a real potential winner. Maradona has promised that if the Albiceleste lift the trophy in South Africa after the World Cup final on July 11 he'll run naked through the streets of Buenos Aires.

"If we win the World Cup, I'll get naked and run around the Obelisk in the centre of the city," Dieguito smiled.

5) We All Know What The French Are Like

In the early stages of the tournament, Maradona lashed out at UEFA president Michel Platini.

At a press conference, Dieguito called for Platini to try the controversial Adidas Jabulani match ball which has not impressed 'El Pelusa'.

"Platini, I'm not surprised with him because we've always had a distant relationship." he revealed.

"Hello, Goodbye! We all know how the French are, and Platini is French and believes he is better than the rest."

4) All The Losers, Line Up

During a training session in Pretoria, Maradona punished the losers of a mini-match by making them line up in the goal and have the ball pelted at them by the winning opponents. Diego joined the recipients – including Kun Aguero and Walter Samuel - in receiving the lashes.
3) Maradona Prefers Women

After thrashing South Korea 4-1 in Argentina’s second match, Maradona was asked at the post-match press conference why he always hugs and kisses his players when celebrating, to which he replied that he was definitely straight.

"Well I still prefer women,” Diego proclaimed.

“I am dating Veronica who is blond and 31-years-old. No I have not gone limp wristed [homosexual]. But I like to acknowledge and congratulate my players when they play as well as they did today. That was a pleasing result and display. It was a job well done."

2) Pele Should Go Back To The Museum

One thing that was guaranteed to happen this World Cup was a verbal war of words between eternal enemies Maradona and Pele.

In response to Pele's assertion that Maradona only took the Albiceleste coaching job because he needed the money, the Argentine declared that ‘The Jinx’ should "go back to the museum".

Maradona also earlier accused Pele of failing to support the South African World Cup and the country itself.

"When the tragedy happened to the Togolese team before the Africa Cup of Nations, a certain coloured gentleman who played number 10 didn't believe that the World Cup could be played here", he roared.

"But today South Africa answers him 'yes it can', the World Cup begins."

1) No One Takes Free Kicks Like Diego

The 2010 World Cup has been a disaster for long-shots and free kicks, with the majority of players struggling terribly to get to grips with the Jabulani. But, one person, who has had no problems handling the much-maligned World Cup ball is Maradona, as he fired home free kick after free kick into the top corner during training.

See below how Diego’s God-given genius with the ball has not deserted him despite his mature age of 49.

It's His Fault

Portugal have been denied entry into the 2010 World Cup quarter-finals after a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Spain, and Cristiano Ronaldo pointed the finger directly at Carlos Queiroz for the result.

El Guaje Sends Spain Through

Spain have edged Portugal 1-0, courtesy of a goal from star striker David Villa to advance to the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup. El Guaje's second-half strike ended Portugal's dreams and set-up their next match against Paraguay.

Samurai Blues In Shoot-Out

Paraguay have emerged victorious in the first penalty shoot-out of the 2010 World Cup after prevailing 5-3 against Japan. Neither side could find the net in 120 minutes and both went neck to neck in the shoot-out before Komano missed his kick, sending the Albirroja into the quarter-finals.

Styling Short Haircut Styles in Your Home 2010

Preparing to cut your hair at home? Do you know what the shape of your face is? There are many factors to consider such as styles flattering to an oval or long face. Consider lifestyle and how much time you spend fixing your hair. Do you play sports, swim? That requires an easy-to care for style. As for the color you want to flatter your hair texture and skin color; perhaps even your eye color.

Venue: Galleries 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6, MUSAC
Dates: 26 June 2010 – 9 January 2011

From 26 June 2010 to 9 January 2011, within its 5th Anniversary programme, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León will be devoting its entire exhibition space to a major exhibition displaying most of the pieces by over 40 Latin American artists held in the MUSAC Collection. Under the title MODEL KITS. Thinking Latin America from the MUSAC Collection, the show curated by Agustín Pérez Rubio (MUSAC Director), María Inés Rodríguez (MUSAC Head Curator) and Octavio Zaya (MUSAC curator at large), invites viewers to trace their own course through contemporary Latin American art, over a layout designed by architect Andreas Angelidakis. In parallel, all activities scheduled at MUSAC between June 2010 and January 2011 will focus on Latin America, including new projects at Laboratorio 987 and the Showcases, artist workshops, publications, seminars, performances, concerts, etc.

MODEL KITS. Thinking Latin America from the MUSAC Collection draws its inspiration from 62/ A Model Kit, a novel published by Julio Cortázar in 1968, which stands as one of the most enduringly original and ambitions projects in Spanish-language literature. Translating it into a different period and discipline, the exhibition modestly attempts to apply the unique novel's vision in the way it rejects and subverts any single interpretation or conventional linear narrative of the works on display, challenging the viewer to establish her own parameters and directions, connections and relationships. MODEL KITS includes around 100 works by over 40 Latin American artists, produced since the late 1980s (under the MUSAC Collection's purchasing criteria), covering a broad range of media and languages, artistic strategies and significations, references, objects and situations, which jointly contribute to assembling varying narratives and permutations. From leading deceased artists who hold pride of place in Latin American Art History like Ana Mendieta, Leonilson or Maria Teresa Hincapié; to great masters such as Luis Camnitzer, Oscar Muñoz or Miguel Angel Rojas; the landmark 90s generation of Valeska Soares, Rosângela Renó, Jorge Macchi or Carlos Garaicoa; all the way to young artists who are making their mark on the current landscape, such as Mario García Torres, Julieta Aranda or Matías Duville, amongst others.

MODEL KITS challenges the viewer to take the part of an active and liberated reader who writes her own score, creating a new narrative. Under this perspective, the exhibition's varied elements can be combined and analyzed according to the concerns and references each viewer brings to bear. The exhibition does not therefore adhere to a central theme or nucleus around which to develop a privileged narrative. While it may be said that the works' diverse perspectives and languages reflect a critical perspective on society and its relationships with other contexts, the exhibition brings together discourses and approaches that are personal and philosophical, urban and political, literary and artistic, etc., to the point that they cover each and every one of the undercurrents defining contemporary art as it is made anywhere in the world, whether it be Paris, Tokyo, Ohio or Bogota. In this sense, the exhibition is projected as an infinite 'ars combinatoria', not limited to the featured artists' Latin American geographical and cultural sphere, but aspiring to establish varying and contrasting readings and conclusions, wavering patterns and ambiguous hints, unresolved questions and diverging paths, like a labyrinth with no exit.

Reality and fiction, surprise and mystery, humour and pain go hand in hand, setting a pace marked by a set of events in no specific order, defined alternatively by logic or by intuition; by action or by contemplation; by the material or the spiritual. In its diversity, the exhibition invites us to think of Latin America as a project in progress, laden with endless possibilities; a project with no constraints in space or time, multifaceted and open to different worlds; a project that expresses its artistic interest in what is shared and collective through 'singularity' as opposed to identity. A model kit waiting to be assembled.
