HUNAGI invited to the 29th World Food Day Conference held in Budapest

Achieving food security in the times of crisis will be the issue addressed by the 29th World Food Supply Day organised by MoARD, FAO National Committee, FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia as well as the Hungarian Scientific Society of Food Industry.
FAO SEUR is member of HUNAGI, and FAO itself is one of the most active UN specialized organisation which develops and uses GI/GIS for facilitate its daily work worldwide.
FAO is also active in promoting open source softwares and use of standards. Scheduled for early November this year, a Winter Course will be devoted to federate learning repositories for agriculture, food and environment. The event organised by Michal Demes of FAO ROECA will be held in Budapest. More info by clicking on the header.
