Towards the end of 2nd World War, Thailand had a serious shortage of banknotes. As production capacity and quality of the Royal Thai Army Survey department was not enough, Bank of Thailand assigned the Royal Thai Naval Hydrographic department as a second source for printing banknotes. Only 20 and 100Baht banknotes were produced.
