RUSS GREEN
Russ Green is a graduate of Hofstra University with a B.A. in English. Trekking in the Himalayas, wandering through Europe, and driving across America, together with his practice of yoga and eastern philosophies, explorations of the light and dark sides of history and everyday life, chasing tow trucks through Greenwich Village, and trying not to use the word Kudalini so much, has formed the backdrop for many of his poems. He co-hosts with George Wallace at Cornelia Street Café and Bowery Poetry Club. He is currently practicing softball in order to pummel Suffolk County Poet Laureate Tammy Morgan’s team in the Jack Kerouac Memorial Softball Game.
